is one of Brisbane’s most respected life drawing studios. located within the stunning Metro Arts Building on Edward Street.
Our creative, qualified, and highly experienced art teachers provide engaging (and fun) art and life drawing sessions through casual night classes;courses; ever popular Hens nights, and other personalised, celebratory evenings.
We do things differently at Drawn From Life;
our teachers aren’t stuffy; our classes aren’t pin-drop quiet; you don’t have to compete for guidance, or an ideal position. We’re all about providing a relaxed, open, and one-on-one learning environment for your artistic endeavours.
This was always Megan Harrington-Stower’s goal as
Drawn From Life’s creator.
Megan is well-known within the life-drawing industry having begun her career as a life model more than ten years ago. She built a strong reputation with her professionalism; thus was always fully booked in what was, and still is, a niche and competitive industry. Seeking a new challenge, Megan saw it time to get on the other side of the easel, and as such, Drawn From Life was born. Megan’s significant industry experience ensures she knows what makes a life drawing session both educational and enjoyable.
In addition to our art classes and life drawing sessions, Drawn From Life provides a model booking service, retaining only the most professional, experienced and personable life models. We also provide training to those wishing to get into life modelling, on request.
