On this Tuesday, 29 November, two of our best models will star in an Eastern Sword Fight – to the death! Clint & Brett will be wearing Korean-style costumes, wielding swords and posing in the fight of their lives.

On Tuesday, 17 May, we will have two gorgeous models (male & female) in the studio doing a series of poses together and it won’t cost you any more than the usual fee. That should keep the sternest of treasures happy!

Models will take a few short poses then 1 or 2 poses for the rest of the session providing a good opportunity to create a finished work so bring your best paints or pastels.

Basic drawing materials, easels & drawing boards included in the cost. Tea & coffee also provided, please BYO coffee cup.

When: 7.15 – 9.15pm.

Hens Parties @ Drawn from Life

Our hens’ parties are a great way to celebrate without the cheesiness of a stripper.  Learn how to draw whilst enjoying nibbles and drinking bubbles.

And we’re going out with a bang – more bang for your buck with our special holiday offering!

Celebrate years’ end with an early Christmas present from DFL – 2 models for the price of one. We are also shouting a round of drinks to kick off the evening!

Two of Brisbanes’ best life models will strut their stuff together over the final two life drawing sessions for 2010. The models (one male, one female) will take a number of poses so pack your good pencils, maybe a paintbrush or two and enjoy figure drawing at it’s best! Add some great music, a few nibbles and a glass of something nice all wrapped up in our beautiful studio.

Sessions are open to all and suitable for all budding or experienced artists, animators, fashion illustrators, the lot!  No need to book but please arrive early to ensure a good spot and a prompt start.

Dates: Wednesday, December 8 & 15.

Time: 7.15-9.15pm.

Where: Lvl 4, 109 Edward St. Brisbane CBD

Cost: $16 per person. Please pay cash at the door.

Alcoholic (wine and sparkling only) and non-alcoholic beverages plus light nibbles  provided but please feel free to BYO – just remember, you have to make it back -down- the stairs afterward!

Paper and basic drawing materials also provided but again, please BYO.

The studio can get a bit warm so we advise cool, comfortable clothing.
